Patrick Mahomes is SportsCall’s Player of the Week. Down 24-0 in the second quarter, Mahomes did not panic, and took control. The young QB led a furious charge that saw the Chiefs take the lead going into the half, and eventually go on to out score the Texans 51-7 after Houston’s great start. J’Von McCormick is SportsCall’s Player of the Week. McCormick produced big as Auburn opened up SEC play with a 80-68 win over Mississippi State in Starkville. McCormick had a career high 28 points on 9-for-17 shooting after Auburn as a team scored just 29 points in a poor shooting first half. Joe Burrow is SportsCall’s Player of the Week. As he has done all season, Burrow put up hard to believe numbers, this time in the semifinals of the college football playoff. He threw for over 400 yards and 7 touchdowns in the first half alone, while rushing for a touchdown in the second half to make it a 8 total touchdown performance. Player Of The Week: December 9
Joe Burrow is SportsCall’s Player of the Week. Burrow capped a Heisman worthy season in LSU’s 37-10 victory over Georgia in the SEC championship game. Burrow was 28-38 passing for 349 yards and four touchdowns, and had yet another Heisman moment, as he made several Georgia defenders miss before launching a deep ball to Justin Jefferson that gained 71 yards. Anders Carlson is SportsCall’s Player of the Week! In the second-highest scoring Iron Bowl of all time, field goal kickers were a big story, and Anders Carlson delivered. Carlson was 4-4 on field goals with two makes of 43 yards, a 44-yarder and a missile from 52 yards. Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin is SportsCall’s Player of the Week. Godwin had a huge game against division rival Atlanta, who was coming off wins against Carolina and New Orleans. Godwin caught seven passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns, including a 71-yard score on the second drive of the game. Godwin is now second in the NFL in receiving yards behind Michael Thomas. J'Von McCormick is SportsCall's Player of the Week. The senior point guard had a record breaking night in Auburn's 116-70 win over Cal State Northridge. McCormick tallied 16 assists, a new Auburn record for most assists in a single game. Impressively, McCormick broke the school record in just 21 minutes of action, and only committed one turnover. Tiger Woods is SportsCall’s Player of the Week. Tiger’s return to glory continued over the weekend at the PGA Tours’s inaugural event in Japan, the ZoZo Championship. Woods had the lead, or at least a share of it, after every round and held off Japan’s own, Hideki Matsuyama in the final round to tie Sam Snead’s record of 82 career PGA tour victories. It took Tiger 66 fewer tournaments to reach 82 tour victories, and he now has twice as many wire to wire wins as any other golf

Adam Duvall is SportsCall's Player of the Week. In Hollywood fashion, Duvall delivered in both Game 2 and Game 3 of the NLDS for the Atlanta Braves. In the series' second game, Duvall pinch-hit for starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz in the bottom of the 7th inning to the chagrin of the fans, who wanted Foltynewicz to continue pitching. On Sunday, Alonso clubbed his 40th homer of the season, breaking the National League rookie home run record previously held by MVP candidate Cody Bellinger.
