Player Of The Week: October 7

Adam Duvall is SportsCall's Player of the Week.

In Hollywood fashion, Duvall delivered in both Game 2 and Game 3 of the NLDS for the Atlanta Braves. In the series' second game, Duvall pinch-hit for starting pitcher Mike Foltynewicz in the bottom of the 7th inning to the chagrin of the fans, who wanted Foltynewicz to continue pitching. Duvall changed the boos to cheers with a two-run blast to extend the Braves lead to three runs and provide cushion for the Braves bullpen. In Game 3, with the game tied with two outs in the ninth inning, Duval took a 1-2 breaking ball and dumped it into center field for a two-RBI single, giving the Braves a 3-1 lead they would not relinquish.
