Will Holland is our SportsCall Player Of The Week.
Holland came out of his season-long slump in a big way over the weekend against arch-rival Alabama. Holland totaled six hits in 12 at-bats in the series, all six hits coming in the final two games. Holland’s contributions went well beyond just hits, as he notched two RBIs and scored two runs in Saturday’s heartbreaking loss against the Tide. He followed that up with three more RBIs and three more runs scored in Auburn’s 17-7 blowout of Alabama on Sunday, which clinched the series for the Tigers.
