Anders Carlson is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
In the second-highest scoring Iron Bowl of all time, field goal kickers were a big story, and Anders Carlson delivered. Carlson was 4-4 on field goals with two makes of 43 yards, a 44-yarder and a missile from 52 yards.
Carlson’s 52-yarder with one second remaining in the first half gave Auburn a momentum boost going in to half, while his 43-yarder to open scoring in the second half came on the heels of having a 54-yard attempt that he nailed taken off the board.
