Player Of The Week: October 14
Israel Mukuamu is SportsCall's Player of the Week.
The South Carolina sophomore cornerback was terrific in the Gamecocks' upset of No. 3 Georgia last weekend. Mukuamu had three interceptions in the game, including a 53-yard pick six in the 20-17 double overtime victory against the Bulldogs. Mukuamu became the first Gamecock to intercept three passes in a game since Patrick Hinton in 1988. The win for South Carolina is their biggest upset win since they knocked off No. 1 ranked Alabama in 2010.
