Player Of The Week: September 23
Derrick Brown is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
Brown led a hungry defensive line in the domination of the battle in the trenches. Brown made impact plays in the backfield with three tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble.
Brown also demonstrated his high IQ on the field with two pass breakups and a near interception on a screen pass. Brown’s ability to change the game up front is a big reason why Kellen Mond was uncomfortable for most of the game, and why Derrick Brown is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
