Bo Nix is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
The true freshman gun slinger rallied from a poor first half, to make his name known on the national stage. Nix first converted a fourth-and-3 with under two minutes remaining by scrambling and falling forward to get the first down by inches. Then, with 16 seconds remaining, after a completion to move Auburn into field goal range, Nix got aggressive, throwing for the end zone and connected with Seth Williams for the go ahead touchdown. No. 16 Auburn defeated No. 11 Oregon, 27-21.
