Player Of The Week: August 12
Simone Biles is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
Biles competed at the U.S Gymnastics Championship over the weekend where she continued her run of dominance as the best gymnast in the world. Biles claimed a record-tying sixth US championship winning the all-around title.
She also won gold medals in vault, beam, and floor. Maybe her most impressive accomplishment of the night however, was landing a triple twisting, double somersault, the first to be cleanly landed in women’s competition history.
