Freddie Freeman is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
Freeman’s solid week proves he is still the foundation of the Braves. In his last seven games Freeman is hitting .417 with five RBIs and eight walks, making his on base percentage a whopping .545.
In Atlanta’s 15-7 victory over Philadelphia on Saturday, Freeman went 1-for-1 with four walks as the Phillies had no interest in pitching to him. That strategy did not pay off as Freeman scored a team-high three runs, securing a series victory for the Braves.
