Player Of The Week: July 22
Josh Donaldson is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
The former Auburn standout is continuing his hot summer in his first year in Atlanta. Donaldson had an on base percentage of nearly 500 for the week, and hit two home runs with seven runs batted in. One of Donaldson’s homers came in prime time Sunday night on ESPN, against the second place Nationals, en route to a series split. The split maintains Atlanta’s lead of 6.5 games over Washington, with around 60 games to play.
