Chuma Okeke is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
After he went down with a knee injury in the second half of Auburn’s Sweet Sixteen victory against North Carolina, many believed Okeke would slide in the draft. On the contrary, Okeke got drafted higher than anyone projected. The Orlando Magic selected Chuma Okeke in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft with the No. 16 overall pick. Okeke is Auburn’s first drafted player since 2001, and the first to go in the first round since 2000.
