Freeman wins the honor after a big week at the plate for the Atlanta Braves going 9-for-23 and hitting a home run in four consecutive games. He played a major role in the Braves winning consecutive series this past week versus the St. Louis Cardinals and the Milwaukee Brewers. Freeman hit a walk off homer in the 10th inning of Saturday's win versus the Brewers and hit his 200th career home run on Sunday. Freeman became the ninth player in franchise history to accomplish that milestone.
