Player Of The Week: April 22
Auburn equestrian senior Ashton Alexander is our SportsCall Player Of The Week.
Over the weekend in Waco, Texas, Alexander helped Auburn's equestrian team capture the 2019 NCEA Championship beating No. 6 Georgia, 8-7.
Locked at 7-7 with one ride remaining, Alexander came away with the biggest point of her career and came away with a 255 to 242 win for the title.
With the win, the Tigers finished the 2018-2019 season with a 18-0 record. The feat marks the first time any equestrian program has finished a full season without a loss. The title also is the program's sixth overall and third in the last four years.
