Auburn in the NFL: Week Three

Auburn had 22 players record a snap in Week 3 of the NFL season.

Teams that do not have an active former Auburn player: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, New York Jets, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers

Arizona Cardinals

  • Josh Bynes, LB: Bynes tied for the team lead in tackles with 10 total stops.

  • Rudy Ford, DB: Ford was inactive on Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons

  • Josh Harris, LS: Harris continued with his usual duties snapping the ball 10 times on Sunday afternoon.

Carolina Panthers

  • Cameron Artis-Payne, RB: Artis-Payne is still looking to make an impact on the offensive side of the ball. He was on the field for 10 special teams snaps.

  • Cam Newton, QB: Newton threw for 150 yards on 15 completions. He scored four total touchdowns with two coming on the ground.

Chicago Bears

  • Cody Parkey, K: Parkey made three of his four field goal attempts scoring 10 total points (one extra point).

Cincinnati Bengals

  • Carl Lawson, DE: Lawson has yet to record a sack this season but is still active coming off the edge. He recorded on tackle Sunday afternoon.

  • CJ Uzomah, TE: Uzomah caught both of his two targets versus Carolina for 19 yards. He reeled in a one-yard touchdown pass.

Cleveland Browns

  • Devaroe Lawrence, DT: Lawrence was listed as inactive.

  • Greg Robinson, OT: Robinson has yet to receive any offensive snaps this season.

Detroit Lions

  • Kerryon Johnson, RB: With a 101-yard performance, Johnson became the first Lions running back to rush for 100 yards in a game since 2013. He maintained a 6.3 yards per carry average on the night.

Green Bay Packers

  • Montravius Adams, DT: Adams participated in five defensive snaps.

  • Jermaine Whitehead, S: Whitehead recorded one stop on 15 defensive plays.

Houston Texans

  • Angelo Blackson, DE: Blackson recorded three tackles and a sack on 30 defensive snaps.

  • Sammie Coates, WR: Coates was inactive versus the Giants.

Indianapolis Colts

  • Braden Smith, OG: Smith played two offensive snaps.

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Corey Grant, RB: Grant carried the ball six times for 11 yards.

Kansas City Chiefs

  • Dee Ford, LB: Ford only racked up one tackle but it was for a sack. He has two sacks on the year.

Los Angeles Rams

  • Blake Countess, DB: Countess did not record a statistic on Sunday but was in on 19 special teams snaps.

New England Patriots

  • Jonathan Jones, CB: Jones finished the day with four total tackles and a pass deflection.

  • Brandon King, LB: King was a full participant on special teams but was not featured on defense for the Patriots.

San Francisco 49ers

  • Shon Coleman, OT: Coleman was inactive.

Seattle Seahawks

  • Neiko Thorpe, CB: Thorpe contributed on 86 percent of Seattle’s special teams snaps.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  • Peyton Barber, RB: Barber led the team in rushing for the third week in a row with 33 yards on eight carries.

  • Carlton Davis, CB: Davis finished the night with three tackles.

Tennessee Titans

  • Daren Bates, LB: Bates continues to be a staple on Tennessee’s defensive special teams unit. He was a participant for one defensive snap.

Washington Redskins

  • Casey Dunn, C: In his first appearance of the season, Dunn recorded four special teams snaps.
