Auburn Football Releases 2018 Schedule

The Auburn Tigers 2018 football slate will feature seven home games, and a high-profile season opener at a neutral site.
The Tigers will open the season by playing in the Chick-Fil-A kickoff classic September 1 in Atlanta, facing the Washington Huskies at new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Auburn will then return to Jordan-Hare Stadium to open a four-weekend home stand, starting with Alabama State on September 8. This will be the first meeting ever between the two programs that are just 53 miles apart. Auburn's next two games will feature two home games against SEC opponents, LSU and Arkansas September 15 and 22 respectively, before closing September with a home game against Southern Miss September 29.
October will see the Tigers play three games, two on the road against SEC West foes. Auburn will play their first true road game of the season on October 6 in Starkville, against Mississippi State. They will also face Ole Miss at Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium on October 20. Between the two games with Mississippi State and Ole Miss, Auburn will welcome Tennessee to the plains on October 13. The last time Auburn met Tennessee was in 2013, a 55-23 win by Auburn at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
Auburn will serve its' bye week on October 27, before returning home to face Texas A&M on November 3. Auburn will then travel to Athens to meet Georgia for another edition of "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry" on November 10.
The final two games of Auburn's schedule will be a split, home and away. Auburn will welcome FBS newcomer Liberty to Jordan-Hare Stadium to close the home portion of the schedule on November 17, before capping the season with a road contest at Alabama November 24.
