The summer of 2017 has been rather eventful for the Auburn Men's Basketball program.

Sophomore Austin Wiley got to experience Egypt as a member of the Team USA U19 that participated in the FIBA World Cup earlier this month, with incoming freshman Chuma Okeke joining Wiley at training camp in Colorado, before an injury cut his time short.

Beginning next month, the rest of the team will get to travel overseas, and play a series of exhibition games against four teams in six days in Italy.

The business trip begins on Wednesday, August 9, when Auburn battles HSC/Stella Azzurra of Rome. The Tigers will then travel to Tuscany to face Lithuania's BC Silute in Ponte Buggianese on Friday, August 11.

Auburn's final travel day of the schedule will be on Saturday, before taking on Veneto Select in Venice on Sunday, August 13. Finally, Auburn will battle the Italy All-Stars in Milan to wrap up the trip on Monday, August 14.

All-in-all, Auburn will see four of Italy's best cities; starting out in Rome, finishing in Milan, and seeing Florence and Venice along the way.

Austin WIley will travel with the team to Italy, but due to a stress fracture in his left leg, will not participate. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks according to Coach Bruce Pearl.
