Auburn Women's Basketball fell to Georgia yesterday in round two of the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament in Greenville, SC, 56-52, becoming eliminated from the tournament. Auburn had a seven-point lead heading into halftime, with Georgia fighting back to tie the game at 38 heading into the final quarter of play. Georgia's Pachis Roberts' hit two three-pointers back-to-back to give the Dawgs a 44-40 lead, a lead that they would not give up again. Three Tigers reached double digits in the game, led by Janiah McKay's 13. Auburn will await their postseason fate at a later date.

Auburn Softball opened the weekend in a big way, by downing Liberty 15-0 in 5 innings last night at Jane B. Moore Field. Carlee Wallace had a career night, going 3-3 with a home run and 2 doubles, recording a career-high 5 RBI. Auburn scored 7 runs in the first inning, and scored 8 in the 2nd to shut down the Flames. Auburn opens the Wilson/Demarini Classic tonight at 6 PM with these same Liberty Flames inside Jane B. Moore Field.
