Auburn Women's Basketball fell to a tough top-10 team in South Carolina last night, 60-41. The Gamecocks held Auburn to under double-digits in three of four quarters. Katie Frerking led the team in scoring with 14, Tyra Johnson behind her with 10. Next up for Auburn is a match with Georgia on Sunday in Auburn Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 pm. Coverage of the game with Andy Burcham begins at 1:45 on Tiger 93.9.

Auburn Softball opened the 2017 season yesterday, by splitting two games with top-15 teams, Oklahoma (3-2 win) and Washington (2-1 loss in 10 innings). Against Oklahoma, Kendall Veach went 2-3 with 2 solo home runs. Auburn battles Nebraska today in day two of the Triple Crown Tournament in Puerto Villarta, Mexico. First pitch is set for 2pm
