>> Auburn Gymnastics opened a weekend full of Auburn Athletic events, by hosting Arkansas on Friday night in Auburn Arena. Despite earning individual highs in every event, Auburn fell to Arkansas, 196.375-196.075. 14 Tigers earned season-high honors on Friday night, including MJ Rott's (Rote) 9.9 on the vault, Taylor Krippner's 9.9 on the beam, and each participant on the bars. Auburn will meet Oklahoma this upcoming Friday in Oklahoma at 6:45 P.M. >> How Sweep it is! Auburn Men's Basketball picked up their second win over Alabama on the season Saturday night, 82-77 in Tuscaloosa. Alabama jumped out to an 8-2 lead to open the game, but Auburn grabbed a 16-14 lead with 14:05, and never relinquished it. Four players reached double-digits in the win, including a "comeback" performance by Danjel Purifoy, who had 14. Ronnie Johnson led all players with 15. Next up for Auburn is a date with Mississippi State, Tuesday at 8 PM in Auburn Arena. >> Auburn Women's Basketball fell to 15-9, 5-5 in SEC play after a 66-61 loss to Texas A&M on Sunday in College Station. Tied at 47 heading into the fourth quarter of play, the Aggies outscored Auburn 19-14 to pull out the win. The Aggies outrebounded Auburn 49-28. Katie Frerking had a career night, scoring 32 points as well as bringing in 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Auburn travels to South Carolina on Thursday for a 6 PM tipoff. >> Auburn Women’s Tennis continues their hot start by defeating Illinois and Michigan State over the weekend. Auburn was tied with Michigan State heading into the final set on Sunday before Georgie Axon defeated Lexi Bayliss 7-6, 7-5 to pull out the Auburn win. Auburn travels to New Haven, Connecticut next weekend to take part in the ITA Team Indoor Championship. >> Men’s tennis went 2-1 over the weekend, picking up two key wins over Alabama A&M and falling to #24 Georgia Tech.
