Big news for Auburn Football... safety Tray Matthews announced via twitter last night that he will return to the program for his senior season. In two years at Auburn, Matthews has recorded 122 total tackles. His 76 tackles in 2016 led the team. Prior to Auburn Basketball's game against Coastal Carolina on December 15th, guard New Williams announced his intentions to transfer away from the program and the University. Last night, it was reported that Williams' has named his new school, and that's Fresno State. The sophomore played in 21 games during the 2015-16 season, recording 8 points and 17 rebounds total. As far as the correlation between Williams and Fresno State, Williams is a native of Southern California.
