With the season beginning in just over three weeks, Auburn Gymnastics finds themselves in a great position. The National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women preseason poll was released on Monday, and Auburn will begin the season ranked 8th in the nation. “It means a lot because it is a poll of peers and other coaches around the country,” Head Coach Jeff Graba said about the poll in a press release. “This ranking is yet another record for Auburn gymnastics and I believe it shows that all our hard work continues to pay off.” Five SEC schools are ranked in the top-10, and eight are in the top-25. Auburn begins their season on Friday, January 6, against #13 Oregon State inside Auburn Arena. In soccer news, senior Casie Ramsier can add another accomplishment to her already impressive résumé. It was announced Monday that Ramsier has been named to the topdrawersoccer.com’s Best XI’s second team. That makes this the third time in program history that a Tiger has been named to the Best XI and the first since 2010. Another All-American list was released Monday, and two Tigers earn honors. Defensive lineman, Montravius Adams, and kicker Daniel Carlson were named to the Associated Press All-American team announced Monday. Clemson QB Deshaun Watson, Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey, and Washington S Budda Baker were also named to the AP All-America Second Team.
