After months of debating, former Baylor Quarterback Jarrett Stidham has announced his destination for the next step in his college career. The Stephenville, Texas native made the announcement via Twitter:
In 2015, Stidham played in 10 games for Baylor, completing 75 passes for 1,265 yards and 12 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions. His best game last season came against Kansas State, when he threw for 419 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-24 winning effort. In a report by the Waco Tribune’s John Werner, Stidham announced his intention to transfer from Baylor University in July. The reason is believed to be amidst the sexual assault scandal that resulted in the firing of Head Coach Art Briles.
Stidham chose Auburn over schools such as Texas A&M and Florida.
