Dodson Earns Conference and National Honors

Auburn Soccer picked up two crucial conference wins last weekend over Florida and Georgia. Junior Forward Kristen Dodson played a key role in those wins, as she finished the weekend with four goals and two assists.

Due to that performance, Dodson has picked up two weekly awards.

On Monday, Dodson was named as SEC Player of the Week after her big weekend. Dodson was recognized again on Tuesday as “National Player of the Week” by topdrawersoccer.com

Dodson is the first Auburn player to win National Player of the Week, since Casie Ramiser earned the honor on September 29, 2015. Ramsier was also the last Tiger to win conference player of the week prior to Dodson, during the same week last year.

Auburn Soccer looks to extend their win streak on Friday against Missouri at 7PM, at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
