Auburn Soccer drops its’ first SEC game of the season to 14th-ranked South Carolina, 1-0.

South Carolina entered the match on a hot streak, winning seven in a row, and only allowing two goals. Both streaks continued once the Gamecocks left Auburn.

Auburn had the advantage in both shots and corner kicks, but a Gamecock goal in the 29th minute was the difference in the game.

For Auburn, Bri Folds took four shots, while Casie Ramsier and Taylor Troutman attempted two. Sarah Le Beau played 90-minutes in goal, and had three saves.

Auburn will hit the road for a two game trip this weekend, beginning in Gainesville, Florida on Thursday. Auburn will battle Florida at 5PM, before traveling to Athens to face Georgia on Sunday.
