The Auburn Volleyball team looks to capitalize on their performance at the Active Ankle Challenge in Louisville last weekend, by hosting their second tournament of the season beginning today.

Auburn will host Memphis, Jacksonville, and Miami (OH) this weekend for the Auburn Invitational at Auburn Arena. The Tigers first match will be against the Memphis Tigers on Friday at noon. Memphis enters the tournament with a 4-2 record, three of those wins came last weekend during the Tiger Invitational, an event in which they hosted.

The next match comes later this evening, at 7:30 against the Redhawks of Miami University. The Redhawks defeated Xavier University on Tuesday in four sets, and enter with a 3-4 record.

Finally, Auburn will battle Jacksonville University to cap the tournament at 1:30 on Saturday afternoon. The Dolphins are sitting at 3-3 currently, having gone 1-2 last weekend during the JAX Classic. Junior McKenzie Swan is the player to watch for Jacksonville, as she is one of the nation's best in digs, with 5.18 per set.

Last weekend, Auburn finished 2-1 during the Active Ankle Challenge, hosted by the University of Louisville. One of those wins came in a come-from-behind effort over the host Cardinals. Sophomore Brenna McIlroy and junior Alexa Filley earned a spot on the all-tournament team, while Junior Jesse Earl averaged 4.94 digs/set over 17 sets played, and was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts.
