J’Von McCormick is SportsCall’s Player of the Week.
McCormick produced big as Auburn opened up SEC play with a 80-68 win over Mississippi State in Starkville. McCormick had a career high 28 points on 9-for-17 shooting after Auburn as a team scored just 29 points in a poor shooting first half. McCormick responded to every Mississippi State run, and Auburn remains one of just two teams in college basketball undefeated.
